I have noticed that some people have painted thier bilge areas white. I am wondering what kind of paint was used. I need some ideas to make my bilge purrrdy.

It's a shame they had such a bad oil leak after gelcoating the bilge that nice white.
On my old Tahiti, I used epoxy garage floor paint to coat the bilge. Looked good, and flowed out real nice and smooth. Kinda ghetto, but hey.....

I used oil based house paint, easy to apply and touch up. Clean it good and use Kilz primer sealer. Not as trick as gel but looks pretty good.

Many many ideas to choose from.
You can roll gelcoat or spray, we rolled gelcoat.
Poly is a little cheaper the gelcoat and last just as long

Another option is Bilge Kote from west marine.
It's a thick grey epoxy that dries smooth and glossy. It's inexpensive, easy to apply(I brushed it into my bilge) and seems to hold up well.
    Just another choice to consider...
