Can some of yous guys send a photo of your ride plates my way. I'm going to build mine and just wanted to see the variations in plates. I know you can buy them, but its funner to build your own stuff.

    Here's my ride plate,

Made from a piece of aluminum channel. Real strong.
If you can't find a piece locally I have a left over piece of channel.

Unchained, how do you like your pressure relief valve plumbed outside of your boat? I'm getting ready to install the blown BBF back into my boat and was trying to come up with the easiest way to plumb my pressure relief... Seems like your way is easy and doesn't require an additional overboard dump. Thanks, Ivan

Excellant!!! Perfect picture. I'm just getting ready to install my droop snoot and was curious what the steering extension looked like. I have the material, just wanted a picture to go from. Ride plate will be the trial and error version, if it don't work, modify it!

Lakes, The pressure relief valve has been trouble free. While my daughter was driving I hung way back over the engine and could see the valve dumping water at cruising speed so it's doing it's job. Engine temp is higher at cruise speed than W/O the valve.

Mark, thanks for the quick reply.. I bought that same valve and was planning on plumbing it inside the engine area and running the additional dump line. That was until I seen your set-up. Very simple, sanitary and functional. Thanks, Ivan
