Nothing special other than led's all over it.

How do the LED´s look in day vs. night an do you have any trouble with them when they get wet?
I used to care about my trailer...then repo man told me "What does my trailer look like?" I replied "I dont know". He said "Exactly, when the boat is off the trailer knowone really gives a shit, as long as the boat is nice." Wayne's is an exception, that whole package is slick as hell.
The key is to get wide fenders so the tire will tuck up nice i used 10'' wide with 8'' wide rims and like billy said 2x4 6'' long on top of the tire and line the whole thing up http://www.ntrplus.com/bn/needles/k50-10.jpg

I just want it all as one package because, I have to look at it. I almost had to BEG my dad for a set of E.T. Drag 5 spoke mags that he had in the garage for about 20 years. I could of bought tork thrust II´s but, these wheels are bitchin and fit the time frame. So I have to gather the info and take the time to do it right.

That is trick! I´m starting to re-think this whole step idea, maybe it was a mistake to cut them off because, I havent seen any trailers in the early 70´s without steps and it would be a whole lot easier to mount the fenders. My fenders are also 10" and the rims are 7" which I explained to dmon I didnt have too much of a choice with the wheels so I will go a little bigger on the tire given stability.

http://www.schoutenranch.com/miscboat/cfw/6.JPGJust to mention Jeff and Tracy have probably seen this but, your boat looks alot like one that used to be in a backyard on Star in Havasu. Just thought I would ask...
Well my boat has never been out of northern ca so I know it wasn't at havasu. But the led's work great. They are completely sealed and all have waterproof connectors. All connections were soldered with shrink tube with sealer in it. I shouldn't have any problems for a long time.

70's are when they started to disappear. To my knowledge Ellis started this(but I'm prolly wrong). A nice compromise is to make a small step out of 2x4 or similar size tube. Cut the end at about a 35* angle and recess the light into the tube. Makes it easy to hang the fender and yo don't usually have people trying to use it as a step and jackin it up.
BTW-more people see your boat on the trailer than off...
