I DUNNO, but I think these headers look pretty correct for the time period we're going for! They are in excellent condition. I could see'em done in a jethot black finish and a bitchin' polished aluminum airbox over the carbs and risers! What do you think Pat????
Anybody want to care to guess what these things might be worth??? I'm negotiating a price right now....Just in case!

I think those are the ticket. I also think with those we don't need any long zoomies to enhance the cool factor.
Are the tips big enough to except a muffler? Do we need to get Mike Leach to cut those off and make them larger? Brother Mike did you jet hot your mufflers too?

I did not realize that my mufflers came out of the pipe...flat stupid really. get it...flat stupid. Anyway, whatever you put on those, pull the muffler than hot coat then you can pull the muffler when you want.

    Pat,
Here's the mockup of the tank. Dimensions are...42'long X 10"high by 13"wide on the bottom. The top flares from 16"wide at the back to 19"wide at the front. When both of them get in there, it'll definately have the 60's marathon look!

Ya know Dave, I would suggest that you don't use those cardboard tanks. I don't think that will last too long with all that bouncing that these V-Drives take Maybe something a little stronger like 1/8" plywood...

NIIIIICE!! Steve, I like the plywood idea for strength, but since Pat won't be racing it I thought I'd silcone some clear 1/4'' plexiglass together to make the tank so he could tell how much fuel he had left:idea:

Good idea... I know how the Lou's love good ideas... Also if the tanks are clear they can save on the Krylon. since they won't have to paint 'em
