I am going to replace the plastic hoses on my Place Diverter. I have seen some kits do it. How do I know if the hoses will be the right length.
I have a setback pump, droopsnoot, and my boat has a pod. Also I had to put the hydraulic pump farther to the side than I wanted, because of the pod, and no room at the transom.

Or should I buy all the pieces and make my own.

I just plumbed mine with -4 AN braides SS line and AN fittings. I am very confident that there will never be a leak, and the hoses can be made any length you need.

If you want to go the DIY route, call up Superdave as he'll get you set straight with the goods you need.
If you don't want to bother fabbing up the lines, just take your measurements and give Rex Marine a call.
