my pump has a pretty beatup bowl vanes have afew chuncks missing(due to a broken impeller that i replaced) . what I want to know is how much speed will I pick up by replacing the broken bowl with a good stock bowl by the way it a berk JC pump.right now I am running 66mph on gps with a mild 454 with a (B) impeller at 5100rpm the boat is a 77 hawiian 19' how much faster do you think it will go .

I had a dominator jet and replaced it with a Burkley intake and kept my dominator bowl but had to keep the dominator impellar because the dominator bowl is bigger. Went to a B plus impellar and make a huge differnce although i dont think the pump was done correctly in the first place, something to think about, the dominator impellar is bigger. Originaly i had a A impellar so all the little things make a differnce.

Probably not more than a mph or 2, unless you apply more HP to the setup too.
