WOW Fly-over software from Google- must see!

You have to download the software from Google. This is AMAZING stuff!

Fly over your house and zoom in, see your neighborhood
Fly up the river (actually boats on the sandbar !!!!)
Check out other lakes and look for hidden coves or plan a trip
Fly over your house...type in "PIZZA" and it marks all the pizza places near your house!!! same for hotels etc... way cool!!!!!!
Fly over any part of the earth and zoom in. Loved ones in Iraq? Check out the place by air.
Share the view of your place at the lake with others etc....

Does it download right onto your desktop? How long is the download???

Yes, it downloads right to your desktop. It only took me a few minutes using a wireless connection to a slow dsl line. The stuff is addicting!
Free too!

Sooo cool I looked at my house, my rental property.
But I wonder what the date of the shot is, cause it looks different.
I am having trouble making it zoom down and getting a clear shot.

Your house is there you just have to look for it. Try clicking on the button that will name the roads that might help you. Some pics close up can be blurry while others are clear enough to id vehicles in the driveway.
For date of the pictures click on the 'DG" in the "layers" menu.
Also Try this: Lake Havasu, 86403 from there you can fly in and out and up the river to the sandbar. It's all on there you jsuthave to spend some time to get used to it.

This thing is pretty damn cool. I am not having a verry productive Monday at work.
I dig the panning feature where you can look at an angle for topography
