Now, at risk of starting anything, let me say this; I raced this boat with a stock 525 powered Conquest and my GPS was showing me about 79 mph.

Hmm, I haven't been able to get mine past 72. Maybe I should try a 26" prop and put the bimini down.
i think i will put the bimini down pull the mufflers empty the gas tanks should be good for another 10mph put me at 80 with all the other deck boat with 100-150 less horsepower.

Here's my 801HP on a singe 1050 carb, 598ci, semi mild cam, idles around 900. Who knows what he has for sure but those E-Tops are not letting it breathe for sure(there goes 50+HP). Gotta have long tubes on a N/A engine!
