I am looking for input or experiences with either of these boats. The Laveycraft 29' or 2750. I have a 26' NuEra now and am thinking about upgrading. Finding information and test results on the 29 is proving to be difficult. I know the 2750 is pretty popular but I would like to compare the two. I am really leaning towards the new 600sci for power, or maybe more. I want something that will run well into the 80's and maybe even 90's. I have already been to Laveycraft, so I have general information, I just want to hear others experiences. Thanks in advance for anyones help.

I think HB tested the 2750 a year or so back. Check the test archives on the HB website. I remember there being some handling issues with the test boat but Lavey said it was fine and could not duplicate the problem. I could be wrong so be sure to verify this.

    29 Lavey
    Hi,
    I had a 29 with a 500efi and then I put a Whipple on it.
I had the boat for 3 years and loved it. The only reason I sold it was to get into a 38 Hustler. I did all the ocean poker runs with it and kept up with everyone......in my 80-85mph range. If I ever decide to go back down in size, I will get another 29.
Call me if you specific questions.
