Well I pulled some stuff from the other thread to start a new one. I'll keep the status updates here. Enjoy the pics.
    Continued.....
I finally ran conduit, wired and plumbed this big ass compressor. I ran some more conduit and dropped in some more GFCI 110v recepticles so we could plug in all of the power tool stuff. A must! The has been cleaned and organized after all of this shuffling around. (after the pics)
Here are some pics from this morning and tonight. I had a couple of hours to continue stripping hardware. I'll have everything but the pump removed tomorrow night after work. I'm finished with my cart so we'll transfer the boat off of the ratty ass trailer here soon. I'm going to separate the deck from the hull as soon as we get it on the cart. Then we'll go ahead and rip out the rotted deck and stringers in prep for the transom work and filling in the intake hole. All of the wood in this boat is wasted and will be replaced. Moving right along here!
Compressor now in FLA and wired to 220. My brother popped together a stout work bench which ought to serve well in this garage.

I got a couple of hours in tonight after being away for a few days.
I got the top removed and also took out the floor and foam underneath. The only thing not rotton so far is the keel stringer..? I have no idea what type of wood it is but it's solid as hell and bare minus four straps of glass...? I'll get that, the stringers and the transom out before sunday. I have more pics of the finished results tonight but I'll get them up later.

I plan on starting a similar project very soon. Is that all that holds the hull and deck together is the strip of glass tape around the inside?

Hey DD. Yes. There was no lip or flange. I zipped as much as I could from the inside which amounted to the rear half of the boat. I couldn't get the cutter in far enough from the mid point forward. I kept a light wedge to the seam and just made a very fine cut at the seem from the outside to separate the forward area. I didn't take pic's but the bulkhead under the bow was already out before I started this process.
I'll snap a pick of the separation point. At the seam area the hull is very visible and even has a small air gap between it and the CSM used to glass it all together(right at the seam) I'll grind all of that out before putting it back together.
I will say this, for the project's sake, separating the deck is by far worth the effort. The transom work alone will make it worth it. Also all of the wood used in the deck for bulkhead support including the dash needs replaced on this thing so having the deck off will make it a pleasure.

Malcom, funny you should mention itching. After I hosed off and hopped in the shower last night I was most definetly itchin' a little. :rollside:

Thanks. My thought would be to grind out the outside, after doing the inside, glass it in, and get rid of the rub rail.
