THIS BOAT IS A 1986 EARL SMITH 17' TEXAS TUNNEL DRAG BOAT. IT HAS A BLUEPRINTED, SPEEDCOATED BOTTOM WITH BRACED REAR OUTER SPONSONS. THE HULL WEIGHS ABOUT 275#. IT HAS FREST PAINT, INSIDE AND OUT. IT HAS A BERKELEY 12JG PUMP WITH A MODIFIED STAINLESS DOMINATOR IMPELLER. THE BEST I REMEMBER, IT'S A "BC". THE PUMP HAS AN "R" NOZZLE, WHICH MEANS IT HAS INTERCHANGABLE NOZZLE INSERTS. ALSO THE REVERSE CHUTE HAS BEEN CUT AND BLOCKED OFF AND THE REVERSE GATE HAS BEEN MODIFIED FOR DRAG RACE USE. THE PUMP ALSO COMES WITH A JETAWAY AND AN INDUCER. IT HAS AN OPEN LOADER AND A BRACED RIDEPLATE. IT COMES ALSO WITH A RED POWDERCOATED ENGINE RAIL KIT, WHICH INCLUDES A FLYWHEEL AND DRIVELINE COVER. MOST OF THE ALUMINUM IN THE BOAT IS RED POWDERCOATED. IT IS NOW CENTER STEER BUT HAS BEEN A LEFT SIDE STEER WITH 2 FRONT BUCKETS AT ONE TIME. IT HAS AUTOMETER LIQUID FILLED OIL PRESSURE AND WATER TEMP GAUGES AND A 9000 RPM AUTOMETER TACH WITH RECALL. IT ALSO HAS AN AUTOMETER TACH RECORD BOX. IT HAS A NEW CUSTOM SWITCH PANEL, WHICH INCORPORATES A KILL SWITCH. THE STEERING WHEEL HAS BUTTONS MOUNTED FOR NOS AND TO ACTIVATE THE TACH RECORDER. IT HAS A CUSTOM BILLET LEFT FOOT REST AND BILLET STRINGER MOUNTED FOOT FEED WITH ADJUSTABLE THROTTLE STOP. ALL THE PLUMBING IS STEEL BRAID AND AN FITTINGS. IT HAS A 3 GALLON IMCO FUEL CHILLER TANK AND BARRY GRANT 280 FUEL PUMP WIT BG 2 PORT REGULATOR. IGNITION COMPONENTS INCLUDE A MSD 7-AL, MSD MULTI STEP RETARD, MSD CRANK TRIGGER AND CRANK TRIGGER DISTRIBUTOR, AND PRO POWER COIL. IT ALSO HAS A NEW INTERSTATE MARINE BATTERY. THERE IS A NICE BATTERY BOX AND SDBA LEGAL ROPE DEFLECTOR. IT HAS A CUSTOM STITCHED COLOR MATCHING COCKPIT COVER WITH SNAPS ALL THE WAY AROUND. ALMOST FORGOT, IT HAS A SET OF REWARDER COATED HEADERS. THERE IS A WRAP AROUND, SNAP IN WORK COVER THAT GOES FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT ON ONE SIDE ALL THE WAY AROUND TO EVEN WITH THE DRIVER'S SEAT ON THE OTHER SIDE. IT SNAPS ALONG THE INSIDE EDGE OF THE BOAT AND LAYS OUT ALL THE WAY OVER THE SIDES TO PREVENT ANY PAINT DAMAGE WHEN WORKING ON THE BOAT.
THE TRAILER WAS PAINTED 2 1/2 YEARS AGO. IT HAS 1 NEW AXLE AND NEW CHROME SPOKES WITH ALL NEW GOODYEAR MARATHON TIRES ALL THE WAY AROUND. WE MODIFIED THE REAR CROSSMEMBER ON THE TRAILER TO SIMPLIFY PUMP MODS ON THE TRAILER.
THE ENGINE IS A 509 CUBIC INCH BIG BLOCK CHEVY.

THESE INTERNAL ENGINE SPECS ARE FROM MEMORY, SINCE THE PAPERWORK HAS BEEN MISPLACED, BUT REST ASSURED, IT IS A QUALITY PIECE. THE WORST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO IT WAS A BROKEN VALVE SPRING. WE DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE THAT TILL WE WERE ADJUSTING THE VALVES AND SAW IT.
BOAT WAS RIGGED, ENGINE AND PUMP WERE BUILT, BY GARRY SNOW AT PERFORMANCE MARINE.
BOAT WAS A HEAVY HITTER IN THE SDBA 10 SEC. CLASS. BEST PASS WAS 9.39 AT 109 MPH WITH A 200 HP NITROUS SHOT.
THE MOTOR HAS ALMOST 3 FULL HARD RUNNING SEASONS ON IT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND A FRESHEN UP. I WILL DO THAT FOR $2000 OVER THE FINAL PRICE. ASKING $13500. YOU CAN CALL OR EMAIL ME ABOUT WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FRESHEN UP. IT DOES RUN NOW, BUT IT'S GETTING ABOUT TIME.
