    502 JET
In my tool bag I carry on my jet I have an adjustable wrench, channel, loc pliers, Wire crimpers, 1/4" deep socket set, 3/8 deep socket set, jumper wires, wire connectors, zip ties, hose clamps, a few nuts bolts screws of varying sizes, test light, spare running light bulbs, couple of screw drivers, visegrips, fuses, electrical tape, razor blades and when all else fails a cell phone.
When I take out my fishing boat I have no less than a 50lb box of tools and spare hardware.Enough sh*t to remove and disassemble the engine.I also bring a tach and dwell meter (still running points).I was 6 miles out in the ocean and the big bolt in my alternator broke flush with the bracket. I was able to spin the bolt out with a small chisel and had a spare bolt in the box.We were back fishing in 15 minutes.Any less prepared and we would have been waiting for the Sea Tow boat.

    something like that
    oh yea, my onboard toolbox
    1 - 3/8" ratchet
1 set of 3/8" deep sockets
    1- 3" extension
    1- 6" extension
    3- flat screwdrivers, different sizes
    1- #2 phillips head screwdriver
    1- 9" channel locks
    1- test light
    various connectors
    an extra transom plug
and a few nuts and bolts at the bottom of the box.
under the seat is a rope, an emergency sound device, a red flag and another extra transom plug.
I wonder how many people out there these days know about the emergency sound device? If you're in need of help and sound the thing off, will anyone show up?

I've got one, its required here. One of those little airhorns like people use at ball games & such... Only time I tried to use it, the guy that ended up coming to check on us never heard it. He heard us hollering, go figure. :rollside:
