Where did you get those weights? I would love it if a Big Block Chevy is heavier.
On the cost of the mounts, you only have to buy them once.

Small displacement, heavy, short stroke.
Why?

383 Mopar - 620 pounds

Brian, one of these days I'm going to take you up on those mounts! My well seasoned 440(sitting on the garage floor at my dad's for the last 15 years) is just begging for a rebuild and place to run!
Cool heetseeker, mother Mopar waits for you to return from the Darkside, hahaha.
They aren't that expensive. GEEZ, how much did you pay for that huffer? You know you can put that blower on your 440.
Brian
Send that 440 my way, I'll be more than happy to run it.

If you look at the valve arrangement on a big block mopar, it is very close to that of a small block chev.Big bucks to make alot of H.P.(over700) unless it is blown. check out the INDY catalog. They have some wild Big Blocks over 600 cubes.

Brian I jus did a search on the net for "engine weights" Found several sites with the info.

Heres one with a 383 in it. Runs perfect for the last 10 years. Never had a problem other than changing impellers and batteries.
