Well, one actually. It all started innocently enough - I was drinking a few beers in the garage when I should have been doing something productive and then focused on my spare set of aluminum heads. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Hell, it couldn't take that long to knock 'em out, right? What a pain in the ass! I should've known better - I've polished a bunch of stuff, from parts on my kid's BMX bike to a jet pump. Every time I vow I will never do it again. And suddenly I'm elbow-deep in black shit. Too deep to quit. Know how hard it is to get enthused and finish something that you hate doing? I was choosing lawn work over sanding on that rough-cast aluminum with a billion nooks and crannys that were imposssible to get a tool in. Well, it took a while and my fingerprints have been sanded into nonexistence but I'm calling the first one done. But now I have to start on the second head 'cause I finally have all the parts to assemble my spare motor. Having someone else polish stuff is worth every single penny.
