I have a Max Drive and I couldn't be happier.....the customer service is awsome, Aaron and Jason are the best,,,they will take care of you, do a search you will find more info...oh ya our boat is carrera party effect, 500efi w/a whipple,,,around 750hp, 725 torque,,,,,the drive will handle it no problem,,,

blownCarrera- they are the best, but you are pushing a ton of power and will still have to take it easy with 1100 hp
HP thanks I know there are limits, but its the Torque that kills drives, not the hp. And my shaft snapped at about 4000 rpms which is a little short of where i make my peak torque. Ive only heard great things about them , hopefully they can help it stay together a little longer.

HP, 1100 is a little on the high side . one of the dyno pulls shows 1101 ft lbs torque, but not that much hp. but hell whoes countin.
Yeah I didn't remember what you said your torque figures were.
Man I can't wait to see that boat run. This year I bought a high definition 1080i widescreen video camera, so I'm looking forward to making a good Shasta tape.
I just finished my second season on my Max drive.....
Total of 120 hrs on it.....850 HP....800 lbs torque.....28P prop.....
I have had a few failures, but Aaron & Jason have taken good care of me....
I have snapped 2 prop shafts & 1 vertical shaft....
I would reccomend them anytime.....

I to have heard good things about them so I sent them my drive. I am not impressed yet! However I hope to be and am leaving a door open for that. There comunication leaves alot to be desired. After all the good things I have heard about them taking care of ***boaters I had expected more from them. On the negative side it seems to all come from shops or manufacturers that say they can't get there crap together to do anything more than one offs. The DCB guys tried to do something with them and got blown off....
