Does anyone here use an external soundcard?

I am thinking about getting one because my laptop output broke. Also, i want a better interface for inputting audio onto my computer.
Any recomendations?

Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS is really good for that application. I want one myself. I have used one before though, and it has an extremely clean output, especially considering the small form factor.
Read all the specs, I'm sure you'd be impressed too.... I especially like it because it is just nearly as portable as the laptop, no extra powersupply and external box to deal with as most any other external soundcards.
