It all went very smoothly, started right up after primeing the fuel line and getting a mouth full of gas. Broke in the cam, all I need now is the most important thing for a jet boat, the Jet..It will be here Monday if those bastards would have shipped it 1 day earlier, I could be boating right now!!!! :crossx:
At least it will be ready for Memorial Day. :rollside:

    Looks nice.
It may be ready for Memorial Day, but that isn't the best time to bring out a low profile boat.
Unless, of course, you own stock in the local salvage company.

Actually I wanted to talk to you about this Mr. Boatcop, Maybe we could setup some kind of sweep where everyone gets kicked off the river so I can make a couple passes..Not all day of course just for a couple hours :crossx:

Dude, your cherrypicker is WAY more badass than any of mine!!!!!!
I also have a suggestion for your new engine. You might want to think about getting a dual carb top for that tunnel ram as most single carb tunnel rams have some issues and you will probably wind up burning some pistons. Please don't think that I am bashing on your new engine, just think of it as friendly advice from a long time engine builder who has seen it many, many times. If that is an Offy tunnel ram you should be able to find a 2x4 top pretty easily, then put a couple of small Holleys on it and you and especially your engine will be much happier.
Boat looks good by the way.

Yes the header is touching the side of the hull on the driver side, the old ones did that also. A little gell coat is missing where it rubs. I am going to have to find some kind of other headers or a big hammer.

I have been told that many times. I have been looking for a dual setup but no luck so far, anyone got an extra they want to sell?

That carb looks lonely on that tunnel ram. Maybe it needs a friend? :rollside:

You can buy a new top here http://www.mondellotwister.com/IntakeFuelSys.htm for $199.00 but you might be able to find a used 2x4 tunnel ram for that price or cheaper without carbs. CP Performance also has the tops here http://www.cpperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=2561 for $188.34
