be done by noon and let it sit for two days, then the stringers. The only thing I have left on them is to cut the transom angle into them. I was gonna wait till the transom was done to get the good finish angle.

I coulda ran it the way it was. I just didn't want to have to do this down the road. As far as money, this hasn't really cost two hundred yet. If the last owner hadn't done such a crappy job last time, I coulda been towin blown 428 down the river by now.

no body work or paint this year, except around the gas caps. That can happen down the road. I just wanna get it together and working. I have all the parts, all I need is more time and ambition.

prepped and ready to glue stringers tomorrow. Seems the old stringers were an inch to the right. I measure 23' between stringers, anybody else got that? Dave, yours was 24 1/8, my other boat is 24. I mocked up my motor rails and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Only problem is the homemade rails and plates have cockeyed holes. Monkeys must have built this thing. I'm gonna have the holes tigged and start from scratch.

Don't forget to add the thickness of the 'glass on each side +- 1/8". Mine is 23 7/8" with glass, 24 1/8" without.
