I've had a few seems if I remember correctly the cable had a ball swivel deal comming through the transom. and if the transom is soft where it goes through the ride kinda gets a little hairy at high speed ~~~~~~

If all else fails here, I know of two places in town that know OMC very well: Campbell Boats and Alco.
