    Trying to install forward/reverse cable. I have 33C cables and I need the seal/retainer/whatever that holds the cable in the top hole. Also, the pivot at the bottom of the bucket arm is made for a larger diameter cable so I need one of those too.

    I looked around and think I've found what I'm looking for but want to double check before I waste more money.

    Forward/reverse cable is typically a 43BC not 33C. 43 is larger diameter. "B" signifies "bulkhead connector" at one end and "C" indicates "clamp connector" at the other. Bulkhead connector is needed at the pump. It secures the cable in the bracket with 2 nuts. The clamp end is for the control end of the cable. You have the wrong cable for your application.
    The 33C cables are generally used for throttle cables.

    Yep, that cable looks more like something to be used for the accelerator...

    In full agreement with Oldsquirt. 43BC is what's needed there.

    That takes care of one of 4 problems of making the cable fit. Still end up having the wrong size fittings on the cable ends as well as a problem with the fit of the cable in the through-hull seal. Better to just get the right size cable and be done with it.

    I have a question along the same lines:
    What type of cable is typical for a Place diverter?
    What are the typical "correct cables" for a berk jet?
    Foot Throttle = 33c
    Forward / Reverse = 43bc
    Diverter = 43bc?
    We are about to go through the same thing with ordering all new cables for a buddy's jet. Thanks!

    The forward/reverse on my Jac WJ was a 33. Same with the throttle. I believe the WJ bucket mount is made for the 33.
    I had to adapt the Diverter bucket to accept the 33 when I switched out from the stock nozzle.
