I've pretty much started reassembling the motor so you'll be seeing a lot of posts like this... sorry :rollside: (it's my first build).
Tonight i installed my ARP rocker arm studs and guide plates. I decided to set a rocker on a couple of the studs and i just want to make sure this looks right. It almost seamed at first that the rocker studs where too short. I compared my new studs and old studs, they are the same length. Also on a few studs when setting the rocker on the stud the rocker didn't just want to set on the valve tip, it slid off the side but i assume that's normal because there's not a push rod putting pressure on it. Sorry if these are stupid basic questions, I'm a bit paranoid/nervous I just want to make sure i do this right.

here's a pic with me holding the rocker so the roller is centered on the valve tip and the rocker is 90 degree to the retainer/valve
