I bought my brother a 76 hondo t-deck. Bitchin Little boat I must say. Anyways it came with a 455 olds that sounds healthy. But we are having a couple of issues. I am trying to find out what holley carb this thing has. I see a bunch of numbers and don't know where to look or what I am looking for. Also It has a hard time staying running. Checked the full lines all is fine check the fuel filter all is fine. I am asuming its the carb. Because when you keep your foot in the gas it doesnt stall. We have adjusted the idle and still stalls. what do you guys think?

Sounds like a vacume leak or a blown power valve.
To find out what carb you have you can find the Holley model numbers on the choke horn. and reference it here------> ID chart (http://www.holley.com/data/TechServi...%20Listing.pdf)
