Thread: 496 ho exhaust

    i am under the understanding that there is a divert/restrictor plate on top of the exhaust log under the riser that is meant to give a bit of back preasure to the motor. and if this removed it will give a bit more db's and a bit more power..
    if anyone out there has removed this "thing" please share your comments and thoughts.. is it worh messing with??

    They are called turbulators. Super easy to remove. Most of us have done it, no problems to date. Here is a good thread on the subject, but just search on "turbulators" here on the board and you will see several threads.
