Plaster or Shotcrete? Wifey really doesn't like the feel of the Pebble Tech, so we are going with plaster or shotcrete with the salt system. Does anyone have an experience with shotcrete? Good or bad, let me know.
    Thanks

we have it, not as rough as pebbletec and smoother than plaster. Has cool varigated look to it, easy to clean, never any algae either....not as smooth as fiberglass which for me is good.

Thanks. The pebble tech looks awsome, so many different colors, but just alittle too rough for the Kids and Wife.
Mandelon, are there a lot of different colors available?

water chemistry determines if algae is present, not the pool finish. you may not be able to see it with some finishes, but it is there if the chemistry is not right.
    just my .023m Colorquartz.......

Pebble Fina is what were looking at. New product made by the Pebble Tec folks, but much smoother (and costs less). Pebble Fina (http://www.pebbletec.com/pebble_fina.aspx)

Im a oc /south bay pool builder & haven't sold regular plaster in 3 years. I sell 3m standard & always push pebble tec, sheen, fina for long time & dark/medium color performance. Everybody seems pretty right on with there recomendations. I m usually just a lerker with nothing intresting to say. Hava good day.
