wet sand an buff
I got some "classic" writing on the back of my Hallet . I want it off . Everyone makes it sound like it's the easiest thing in the world to remove . Letters are white with black border. The black seems to be coming off OK with acetone but the white is staying put . Any suggestions.

wet sand an buff
That's what I was thinkin since the whole thing needs to be wet sanded and buffed .
Is the boat jelcoated? I've heard Easyoff oven cleaner will work with jelcoated boats, but have never tried it. Budlight
Easy off oven cleaner,a bondo spreader and buff.
And this is a painted boat.

A neighbor of mine bought all the materials from some place in colton and his son did all the wet sanding and buffing in two days and he says it looks like the day it was new. I on the other hand would like to leave stuff like this to the pros , but labor is so damn expensive I'm thinking about taking on the task.

I went the wet sanding route. Just remember the gel under the graphics will probably be brighter then surrounding area and you may see the outline of where the graphics were.
