JBTRAILEARJIM...check your PM. I have some pics of your boat and family but will leave it up to you if you want to post them.
You can really see the water line in these pics. It amazed me to see how much lower the level is these days.

Hoover Dam...You can see where they are constructing the new bridge above the dam. That is going to be pretty high up there.

In the 3rd pix of the dam the optical illusion on the right side makes it look like the water level was way over the damn at one point
Sad to see but yet L.V. is still building like crazy and the proposed 150,000 homes stretching from Kingman to Meadveiw is still being planned Where will the water come from to support this kind of development?? And if it goes down much more then the power turbines will be shutdown. I agree with you Dilligaf, sad indeed. NSF

Check your e-mail. Nice pics BTW. The water was nice on Tuesday morning. The afternoon was a whole different story though.

That is not just the pic. I noticed that when I took the picture and was wondering how the heck that happened. I looked along the walls towards the dam along the right side (looking at the dam) and there were some water lines higher then the dam. Mystery to me.

I was talking to a local at the ramp Monday and I asked how long has it been since the lake was full. He told me back in the mid 80's he can remember the lake overfilling. He went on a rant telling me there is no way the levels are ever going to get back at once they were. He said they just keep building and building with no end in sight. He told me they are expecting the lake to drop another 18ft. over the next year. It is real sad to see the water levels there. :frown: I don't what the hell they are going to do if the lake drops more. Most of the ramps are not useable right now.

At about 4:30 when I was heading across the basin, I was wishing I was in your boat.

How tall is the bathtub ring around the lake now? It looks to be 20-25' or so. Very sad to see Mead so low. Last time I was there was in 2001, and it was only a few feet down at that time.

I test drove my boat on Mead in Dec. of 04. When we launched we used the seller's truck which was raised 6-8 inches. His truck was all the way into the water just below the exhaust tip. I couldn't launch my boat there in a stock height truck. We launched where there was a marina near Hendersen.....I can't recall it since I don't frequent Mead at all.

I'm guessing a bunch of the coves are no longer accessable? Is Wishing Well dry?
