Damn, I'm not finding it either.
Family and Performance Boating had an article on a 489 build up. They used a Comp cam with the following specs:
-hyd roller
-"Xtreme Energy"
-0.646"/0.623"
-236°/242°
-114° lobe sep
Anyone have an easy way of finding the part number? I searched compcams.com for 1/2 hr and didn't find it.

CCA-11-433-8 (http://store.summitracing.com/partde...22+400114+4294 887637+4294887636+4294838666+115&autoview=sku) is the closest thing I can find.
But the lift way off.
Per Summit's online catalog, the CCA-11-460-8 (http://store.summitracing.com/partde...22+400114+4294 887637+4294887636+4294838501+115&autoview=sku) is the biggest lift for hydraulic roller, but then the duration is off.
I'd love to find this cam since it's dyno test results were pretty impressive. The issue is June 2004 if anyone might still have it.
summits link (http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...0+115&x=44&y=5) comps catalogue shows XE cam XR274R AS 236-242 @.050 AND .639 IN. 646 EX. 110 Dur. mechanical roller. Closer then the cam you found. Was the build supercharged or for nitrous? R.B. edit: comp # 11-770-8 requires thrust button and wear plate this is for 65-96 blocks

That looks like a mighty high lift cam for hydraulic.

Thats it or very close - THANKS!!!
Yes, the article said they were setting up with supercharging in mind.
I think the typo in the article is that they called it a hydraulic and not mechanical roller.
