after doing the math you're looking at least another $7 grand!
If a given boat runs 75 mph at 5500 rpm with around 645 hp (motor probably makes around 600-620 hp @ 5500) spinning a Berk A impeller, how much power will it take to make it run 100?

75mph/645hp=100mph/"X"
X=860
But I like the way you did it better. In Dollars! :jawdrop:
This is using straight math, but there are more variables than that; such as wind resistance and friction on the hull.

According to Jerry Friddell's Jet Boat Performance Calculator you would need 880 HP spinning the A impeller at 6538 rpm.
The calculator used to be available for free download at liquidaddiction.net, but the site is apparently gone.
El prosecutor... on your pump torque graph is A2 the "AA" impeller? thanks, CC

Yes; BTW I liked your first calculation better. LOL
"wife math".. understands it much better...thanks,CC
Thanks guys. BTW, if you plug in $7k and 880 hp, how many cubic dollars is that?
YOU MAY JUST WANNA PLUG IN $10,000 BECAUSE YOU DONT WANT TO UNDER ESTIMATE, AND AS FAR AS HP, TO MUCH IS NEVER ENOUGH :rollside: :rollside: :rollside: :rollside:
First off, where does the motor make the most power? Is it 5500 rpm? If the motor makes more power at a higher rpm then you should look into matching the impeller to whatever that RPM. Also, look at your intake, loader, shoe setup. You could be hurting yout performance if not setup correctly. Also, my Liberty ran over 75mph with much less HP (500 ish) around the same RPM and that was a 19' v-bottom with no droop and no bottom work done. Depending on the hull, you should be closer to the mid 80's if its something small like my Liberty, but if its something larger like Hustlers cruiser then your going to need more power then you think to get to 100mph and 10k would just be the start of it if you want anything to last...
