We are heading out to Havasu this Friday afternoon and I am looking for traffic advice. Is anyone aware of traffic issues on the 15 to 40 route? If there are issues what are the fastest optional routes.
    Thanks!

Traffic always sucks on the 15 fwy right before the 15/215 merge in Devore. Also the 40 is closed down to one lane in either direction in two seperate areas for bridge repairs.
Some are taking the 10 Fwy East out to Rice Road or all the way to Blythe.
If you're not towing the back way through 29 palms is nice. I think it's the 62....it drops you out on the 40 at Mountain springs road.
We stick with the 15 just because it's shorter and usually not too bad by the time you hit the 40 this time of year.

If you live in San Dimas then coming out the 10 is your best bet...going up to the 40 is a longer drive and there still is lots of construction

it also has a lot to do with what time of day you are traveling.
Doing the 91/15/40/95 option.....I left Orange county at 2am saturday morning and was there at 6am....on the water before 8am. :crossx:
Edit: the ride home is always the worst through the victor vally area.
