    I need about 400lf of #2 Electric wire for a detached garage electical service. I am in the Phx area would like to pick this up local.

    dude, you can get it a t the Home depot for like 1.25/ft or some crap like that. I can't get you any better deal than you can get from them...

    Home Depot was about 677$ for 500' of #2 stranded 2 months ago. I think it is about 740$ now. I was buying it for 230$ a little over a year ago.
    Good luck, I dont know if the elect supply places are any cheaper.

    We use alot of #2 solid. Good thing it is NON insulated and direct burial

    Copper is down to about half the jump it took. Look around, try Lowes. Still $1,265m

    I have a bunch of #4 stranded out of my old shop, approx 200 ft x 6 colors I think. If interested I will get details. I will sell at half of whatever home depot charges. It's like new not all beat up and kinked.
