it's crazy the campsites are full but the boat action is minimal. we were the only ones in the float area all last sat. one other hot boat a commander making some laps, but for the most part dead on the water. should be the same this sunday

Aw. Nice invite. I have been traveling almost every weekend of the last two months, otherwise I would. Time to stay home for awhile. If I by chance made another trip out, it would be for something special like the Absolute Regatta. No plans of that either, but I would do it on a whim if the wifey was up for it.
we'll be down for the Absolute Regatta...if you guys are coming out we've got room at the house I'm sure

Sorry Dude. Not my idea. I was perfectly happy with Sat, but the others that originally had something going on Sat - cancelled their dealio and now want to go then. I would just say screw them and still go Sunday, but the Wife wants Sat also. I've learned not to argue with that part of the crew. :220v:

Damn, the wind picked up just before we arrived out there. Sat at the prep area behind another boat for 2 hours waiting for 30 mph winds to stop. Blowing dust and the wind was 90 degrees to the ramp. Gave up and turned for home. Wasn't worth the difficult trailering and wipe-down. PLUS, the whole crew bailed on me. It was just me and the wife. Oh well, next weekend.
