I did not expect below 20's temp's where I store my boat and the motor froze . I can see on one side a freeze which popped out and on the other side one about 1/8" out past flush , that's what I can see looking through the exhaust manifolds there could be more . The question is what other damage is likely , could it only be freeze plugs ? If the block is cracked would it be big enough to see ? could there be internal damage ? what do I do ? Its a 460 ford pretty much stock .
When it thaws check to see if any water in the oil, also put freeze plugs back in it and back it in at the dock and fire it, then check for water in oil. I would pull the manifolds and put them someplace warm then water test them.
My manifolds are nice and warm in the basement right now.
