Ive got one and i love it. I towed a 28 daytona tall deck with dual blown 525's to havasu(4.5 hour trip) no problem.
I am seriousely contemplating getting out of my ford truck since the 08's are getting to be just as much as a fully loaded Denali. Just wondering how they tow and handle the road.

Froggie tested every SUV Tow vehicle known. Ask him.

Yeah and he wound up with a Rhino!
After it was all done it propably cost the same as a Denali
New Denali is supposed to be the ticket....same power train as the Escalade...6.0 or 6.2 not sure but for 10K less
Denali does not come in 3/4 ton nor does it have diesel. So depends on what you are going to tow.
I got one for my wife. It is a huge pile of junk. It is going into the service department for the second time and only has 4000 miles on it.
With our 07 XL Denali ,I just towed my 10,500 lb Hallett (w/ about 2k lb worth of shiat in it)home from LHC -300 miles. It actually felt stronger than my 05 duramax I just sold. In tow/haul it shifts down like the allison did. Powerwise, it was impressive also. Ran very strong. When braking, you just have to be careful and give yourself good distance, but again I was towing frikkin 3k over the rating.
Hell of a rig, My 01 was the same way. Id of bought a new burb, but All wheel drive is the ticket,- zero boat ramp slip.
Pulled our Hallett 270 with no problems at all.
