My 72 Mandella had almost the identical gel. Except, it was a maroon metal flake on the side and also had this big Nike looking swoosh on the sides. Ufortunately, I didn't know what I had and it had been sitting outside for 20 years and was weather beaten to death.
You don't realize how ugly these boats are until you paint them completely white. They definitely need some color and lines to give it some attractive asthetics.

the more you post the more killer that thing gets. that could definitly become one of the all time great oldies, you really need to take you time on that piece. P.S. if you plan on running fuel in those foward tanks under the deck, be very watchfull, and carefull, that is what contributed Louis' accident. The tanks leaked and delamed the bottom up under the deck.
I thought he hit the lake bottom. ( Hay I'm always wrong)
