A guy I knew in OC owned that boat. I think. His name was Pat and he had a 70 something bagged suburban that towed it. Is that the same boat?
Not sure. When my Dad got a hold of it the motor was fresh and supposed to make big horsepower, but the boat was running in the mid 70's. The set up was waaaay off, so the guy didn't want to screw with it anymore. Could that be the guy?
he was a younger guy. skinny. he owned a air bag customizing shop in mission viejo. I cant remember the name of the shop but his name was pat and his partners name was marco.
Never saw the dude. Just heard the story.
I used to work by the guys that built it. years ago. here is a pic of the old tow truck pat built for the boat.
