Here is my ski tow. Not the greatest of pics. It is made from a aluminum plate with a machined cylinder bored to except a off the shelf ski pole.

Thanks for the pics. On your setup is there also a support going to the intake manifold?

No, there is no support. Good idea, though.
The thing I don't like about mine is the actual ski tow spins inside the machined tube and gets stuck and I also don't like the amount of force put on the tranny bolts.
I would love to see some other setups. There use to be a Spectra called Orange Crate that was setup with the ski tow behind the back seat. It was secured to the stringers but I can't remember quite how.
One thing I notice about sking with the tow behind the front see is I get a lot less transom swing when pulling hard but the wake is pretty tall unless you use a long rope.
