Sweet, thanks!!! Very stout engine, did you use the chiller on the dyno? What blower is that?
    Travis.
Yes, we did use the chiller. Had to rig a garden hose set-up inlet that dumped back into Dyno Tank, but it worked. Hampton Blower

That's awesome congrats!. I wouldn't be dropping the boost though!..
Art, I am not worried about the boost on short pulls like on the dyno, But I would be worried runnin it flat out on the lake or river for long distances. The knock sensor never went off on Dyno though in pulls, which is good, But Keeping it under 10 pounds on 91 octane and giving up some HP, would be safer than risking ruining a 28K motor dont you think??? What are your thoughts Art?

Do you really have 28k in that engine? For that money I would hope you could run 12lbs all day and not have to worry about it. Dont get me wrong it is a very nice piece but for that money I could get you one of these for 25k and you could beat on it all season and not worry about breaking it.

Well I don't think you'd have a problem with 10lbs as long as you don't get too aggressive on timing, or mix the 91 with Avgas!. But at 28K for a motor i think I would want to be on the safe side too! LOL..

Timing is at 34 Degrees total. What a jump in numbers on the dyno from 28-34 Deg. The motor loved timing. We didnt do any pulls farther than 34. Cant remember what initial was. It is not locked out though...MSD Ignition

Yeah that would make a difference alright, I would think you'd be safe at 32 though!..

Love the old step deck 22s, that thing looks cool, a customer of ours just finished having an old 22 completely redone glass wise, they cut the deck off made all new stringers, bulkheads etc, re-gelled it and even saved the original noskid, it came out pretty good, no goo on the nonskid its all sharp. that's next on the rigging schedule after the Mandella.
