I had the exact same issue.
I bored my blocks to 1.152" & pressed in the bushings. Worked out quite well. They have not moved.

my choice is bronze and i make them, that way they won't push out. 928-505-5900
Not to rain on anybodys parade but McMaster carr has them in stock from delrin or bronze and a lot of outher options

Sam, the 5 bushings for Gary's Barron, heavy duty bronze, were right at $20.00 with a large enough OD to allow cleaning up the fore/aft wear in the pillowblocks........1 1/4 OD-1" ID. (Mc Master/ or Graingers)......Ray
If you use generic bushings, bronze or delrin, make absolutely sure you have the correct amount of crush (press) or they will come out.

My vote is for Delrin also.
