cool, I'm on the intake too.

My "sources", lol, of info (including oldrigger) seems to imply that the intake should be set level with the lifting strakes, side to side. I figure to make a "jig" that will straddle the keel, and set on the inner strakes, so I can level them accurately. Front to back shouldn't be an issue, as I can get a 4 foot level on them. Only thing I have noted, is the general consensus of 4 - 5 degrees difference from the strakes for the suction mounting surface. I have set up the intake, measured it, and determined that it is actually 3.5 degrees from the hull mounting surface to the pump suction housing mounting surface. 4 to 5 degrees should be attainable in this case.
OK- enough rambling for now. Time to make some progress.

I've been goofin' off, and not workin' on it. But I did get some nice tanks and need to fab up some brackets.

I'm still goofin off. Been feelin under the weather for a while too. I got my tank brackets fabbed up. The cost was less to make 4 nice SS ones, than to buy one new crappy plastic coated one. About half or so. I also picked up some seats from the Bubba's, down in NC, and also met a couple other people while I was there.
I gotta get motivated again and get my butt in gear. The transom and bottom are awful close to being done.
