Thread: what type of hull is this.

    All I have is a hull# FRKKF1010176. Tis boat wasa found in a yard under some srubbs. was wondering if anyone can tell me who made it?

    I can tell you that its a 1976. Last two numbers id the year of the hull

    Yeah I new that it was made jan 1976.101st boat that they made. but who made it.

    Thanks everyone. Is it worth trying to sell or should they scrap it. I dont know anything about flat v drives. It has the cav plats and the trany/drive shaft with prop. Boat is in ok shape for being outside at least 12 years. I will try and get some pics.

    Here is the problem in California. If the boat has not been registered in 12 years, the registration has fallen out of the system. It can't be brought back to life. I once bought a boat that was 4 years behind in registration. It cost me $800 in fees to register. As the used car salesman say .... tellyawhatIamgoingtodo !!!!! Sell me the boat cheap and I will come and pick it up and take it off your hands .... OK, ... Y'know as a ***boat Forum buddy.

    the boat has or# with a 1981 sticker on it. They are in the prosess of locating paperwork. The boat is in redwood city calif.

    ...All I have is a hull# FRKKF1010176....Yeah I new that it was made Jan 1976 was 101st out of the mold.101 boats laid up in 365 days is quite a feat, Daveo, let alone by the end of January like you noted. It is much more likely that what you is have the 1st (or 2nd) boat of that layup out of that mold for that year.
