My 90 Carrera jet has the stock hardin 454 with about 350hrs on the motor.
The boat runs great and will run 55 mph all day. Question is I was thinking of doing some light engine mods this season. Is it even worth it while still running logs? If so I'm open to input.
I think you will be fine depending on what you want to do. You may not get the full effect, but as long as the changes are well thought out you should see an increase in performance. You probably wont see the full benefit without a properly matched high performance exhaust.
