how do you make money on that... if the bank owes 500... which means you can pick it up for that? and then last sales were 550... but then knock out taxes / supplemental taxes and agent fees? how do you profit.... or do I got it all wrong.

...personally (my situation) I write the offer which the bank is offering a 3% commish, pocket $15k...looking to put it back on the market before the first payment is due for roughly $540k..looking to only make $30-40k as a quick turn, pay the tax which will be due in '08. Small $$ but small time frame
On the other hand, someone looking to buy something finally and pick up a great deal with a foreclosure could walk into some equity...
