Looks like you'll have to call MSD on that one. I've looked in my book and it does not show any place to wire in a tach. Usually they will have a grey wire coming from the box harness that is the sense wire for the tach, but the book does not show it.
Should plug right into a single male spade terminal recessed into the side of the box.
I did just what your doing. There is a connector kit from MSD to change the plug on the box ot the water tight one. You just snip the wires and crimp on a new one. If you can't get one where you got the dist you can order one from Rex Marine. They new exactly what I need when I ordered my distributor.
