Looking for a set of motor plates for a 440 big block wedge. If not the plates themselves, some patterns would work. Thanks

Side plates are 3/4 thick alum that was chromed and attaches where the motor mounts go.

I have a bell housing and Aluminum flywheel for one. (flywheel has to match so the starter meshes correctly). How many bolts hold your flywheel on? 6 or 8?

I forgot to mention these are for a jet. Will this setup work for a jet? I don't see why not.

This is for a friend and he is going to check but he recalls six. As in the above post would it work on a jet? How do you know if the flywheel matches the bell housing so the starter meshes? Do you shim it somehow. I'm not familiar with Mopars.

Mopar starters are flywheel specific. Mine uses the tin can start which requires a 172 tooth flywheel. The later gear reductions use the 143 flywheels. I would stay away from the direct drive units like have. I'm always having starter issues. I don't see why you couldn't use the same cover in a jet unless it made the motor sit to high in the back.

I looked on the Rex Marine site and found the rear setup but did not see anything for the front. Where did you get yours an would it be possible for you to trace a pattern or maybe a closer pic. Thanks

There was a guy here that had a mopar in a jet, he machined the front of an auto trans and used the bell housing like a three point mount. If you used front and rear motor plates on a rail system all you would need is the pto. Just make the rear plate thick enough to mount the starter.
