Thread: 130+ mph Flatbottom!

I would probably bet my life it hasn't seen 130 mph....might have seemed like it being a true flatbottom without the air runners. The 130-140 range requires aluminum heads with extensive work......the best I have ever seen was 128 with steel heads and that was a runner bottom. In order to go 130 with 22 gears you are in the 8000 rpm range..........................just a guess tho!

agree been there myself but ran 132 and 134 and as you know it wasnt no normal lake boat but a drag race only deal and it went to 9k plus the 006 boat went 134 also but that had .25s and it was near 8k rpm

True dat Lookin for Liquid. You can run 130 with 18s but you have to buzz the thing through the roof!!!!!!!!!!

Like dmon says, $10K looks like an OK price for what it is.
    Whaddya think it will run?

What a shame, it probably is a decent little boat but they had to throw in the 130 MPH thing to screw it up. It would probably be a fun little lake or river runner without too much work. Still can't get past the 130+MPH thing.

I don't have my measuring stick out, but it sure looks like those strakes are illegal height for turning left. So my guess is that it was never set up to turn left.
I would love to see it make those numbers on a dyno now, and would love to see it try and hit 130. But for that price, it is a nice boat.
Like Paul said, he screwed it up with the 130mph thing.

Exactly! Wouldn't be a bad little toy at all for the lake/river, but it seems to me he screwed himself by adding the 130 mph sentence. Kind of a red flag, don't ya think?

His tow vehicle must haul ass because the only way it's ever been 130 is on the trailer.

If someone does, you gotta give us the play by play on what he says!
