Wish me luck, I'm going to head to the shop and start workin' on the 455. Got it out of the tank and cleaned up Friday, so it's ready to attack. I'll see about getting some pics up tonight.
Count us in on some of these shorter runs. Jan isn't gonna have a bunch of timeoff left for the summer (going to Hawaii in April) but we would really like to hook up with you guys for some of this fun come warmer weather.

I can remember when they came out of the washer tank shining like a new one, back when noone worried about a few dangerous chemicals.... God I miss those days sometimes
It's pretty hard to get that old rust off. I ran it through my mini Hot tank first. Kinda screws it up when your block didn't have much grease and paint left on it.

Got all .002s and .003s so it's time to lube her up and put the rear seal in.

Here's the heads, I polished the chambers with my Dremel and filled the exhaust crossover with aluminum.
