    Why Would One Get Spider Cracks In The Floor Back Between The Stringers.is This Comon For All Boats? Is There Any Way To Prevent It. Thanks Jim

    Post some pics if possible in the fiberglass section and you'll get more help than you'll ever need.... They're there to help...............

    I'll take a guess you're talking back by the strut, If I'm right it's because you don't have a strut support!..

    Age and the bottom is moving. Dual strut supports help but eventually you get them anyway. High hp helps to get them quicker.

    Yes it will happen.
    Not to big of a concern, but it can also let you know if you have a problem developing that needs some attention. My boat has told me it needs a better prop. strut brace.
    You must risten grasshoppa.

    Stress cracks are a part of life in these boats, if you do have them you need to make sure you don't get water down in them. If water gets down on the plywood your problem just got big.
