How does Folsom feel about noisy boats?Also is the water ever smooth enough for a Flat?
It's ben years since I've been on Folsom.

Coded gave you some good answers. I haven't ever had any issues with noise on Folsom and have seen (and heard) some pretty loud boats out there who haven't had issues. Steve and Laurie with the AO at the top of this page have blown motors and no mufflers. They are pretty loud.
as for water conditions, it gets pretty rough on most days. You'd have to launch pretty early in the morning and then wait until pretty late to get back off the lake and avoid the wide open area all together.
maybe you'd be better off to just come for a ride on the f*cker sometime. she rides like a cadillac in the rough stuff.

I'm sure they would frown even at the launch ramp.But,I had to ask
ever since they let them build houses overlooking the lake they have had a hard on for noise... If you stay out of the canon and away from shore you will be alright if you dyke 8 or the one at peninsula camp ground.
