Bigger snakes could have taken it but Squirrels are pretty fast and obviously this one had something to protect. :devil:
It was a decent size Gopher snake - I stand corrected. The shiny patch he is resting in is his blood. I think the squirrel was after the snake, but who knows.
I am afraid the squirrel is going to be toast if he comes around here again. They can mess up a parked vehicle in one night.
Squirrels are just rats with fluffy tails..
