A former neighbor of mine did that, and helped build many of the power lines crossing the desert. He said the scarist one he ever strung was one crossing a huge canyon, said it felt like hanging over the Grand Canyon.
He was the only one in his group that would string a line over it hanging off the side of the chopper like that....
He made coin too.
